The website, In Media Res, has a special theme on e-sports this week for which I’m a contributor. The site has an interesting format: a curator picks a short (less than 3 min) video to use as a prompt and then writes a brief response. Yesterday, Neal Hinnant, who is curating the entire week, picked up on the theme of skilling up. Today I’m using my fav video of Evo (previously mentioned here) as a prompt to say a few things about live-streaming and spectatorship. It’s hard to dig into things with just 400 words so my entry is mostly a “hey, this is happening and here are a few points” deal but that is likely still new info for some folks out there!
